Official Ministry Security Guidelines
In light of recent events the Ministry of Magic has issued a set of guidelines which will be posted out to all magical citizens over the next week.
The Ministry of Magic is increasing all security measures, making your personal safety our number one priority. Barriers are being strengthened, the Ministry has begun a dialogue with the Muggle Prime Minister and Aurors are being trained to deal with any muggle-related interference.
It is vital that no magical citizen take the law into their own hands or commit any act of violence against any muggle. Any Wizard found trying to harm a muggle will be dealt with swiftly and severely.
In addition, laws regarding the exposure of magic to muggle-folk have been revised. Anyone caught deliberately exposing themselves to one or more muggles will face the Ministry Council.
The Ministry of Magic offers counselling to anyone who requires it, as well around-the-clock advice on non-aggressive security measures that can be taken in order to make you feel at ease.
Apparition is now being restricted. In the attached map, all public places will have specific apparition points that are cloaked from muggle eyes. This will allow controlled entry and exit throughout heavily populated magical areas. Homes have not yet been restricted, but this is to be expected within the next six months.
Every Wizard is also being issued with an appointment for the identification branding of their wand sot hat all wizards can be scanned upon entry to a magical area.
The Ministry is also sponsoring businesses to allow select employees to take on condensed auror training to help with patrols and other standard security procedures. Large grants are being offered for this service.
